Role Profile
Role Title: ASSISSTANT OPERATION COORDINATOR
Department: FLIGHT CATERING
Job Purpose
Ensuring that food utensils are prepared, checking dishwashing, and ensuring that there are sufficient quantities of equipment and dry storage items to meet customer needs. Following up on storage, preparation, and supply operations, receiving carts for meals and utensils, participating in loading them onto buses, following up on their transport to distribution centers, and delivering them to the flight crew. In addition, receiving returning aircraft and receiving tools and items from them.
In this role, you will be responsible for key performance areas and responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:

Monitor the preparation and arrangement of food utensils and equipment, ensuring that they meet airline requirements.

Ensure that sufficient supplies are available and that food equipment and dry storage items are properly stored and within their expiration dates.

Monitor the activities of staff in the dishwashing unit and ensure that food preparation equipment and utensils are washed and sterilized according to health and safety instructions.

Ensure that all food equipment is stored and maintained, and that chemicals and cleaning materials are available at all times and used economically.

Ensure packaging and the availability of the specified dry goods for each customer, and ensure that the correct equipment is available for the airline and that this equipment is compatible with the class it serves.

Prepare daily newspaper and magazine menus, including ensuring that they are in the appropriate quantity for the daily equipment plan. ¿ Ensure that meals and equipment are placed in their designated vehicles and monitor their transportation to distribution centers.

Ensure that meals and tools are delivered to the flight crew, respond to their inquiries, and ensure that safety procedures are implemented on the aircraft by monitoring all vehicles and ensuring they are properly secured and in their designated locations, and that meals are distributed in accordance with established instructions.

Monitor the transfer of all tools and equipment to their designated sections and ensure that returning buses are free of aircraft tools and supplies.

Receive returning aircraft and receive their tools and supplies.

Perform any tasks assigned within the limits of their duties and job responsibilities.

Commit to implementing company policies, administrative circulars, and administrative decisions.

Additional Requirements:
